Traditional Thai Massage

An ancient healing system that combines broad and targeted acupressure, stimulation and manipulation of energy lines and assisted yoga postures. The practitioner uses thumbs, palms, forearms, elbows knees and feet to create a dance of movement on the body. Joints are opened, muscles and tendons are stretched, internal organs are toned, and energy is balanced. Thai Massage With Hot Oil

Thai oil massage uses firm pressure and deep rhythmic movements along energy lines of the body. This treatment aims to unblock, balance and restore the body’s natural flow.

 

Thai Oil Massage utilises the properties of specific oils to allows the therapist to glide over the body. A mix of stretching, firm pressure, rhythmic massage and rolling techniques are used over the whole body.

Thai Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a speciality massage where the therapist uses, smooth heated basalt stones to warm up tight muscles and work on pressure points and specific problem areas to alleviate tension and stress. Hot stones may either be placed on the body or used as an extension of the therapists hands, which allows the therapist to work more deeply and more quickly.

Deep Tissue Massage

This type of massage is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension.
